Acrylic on canvas 34” x 44”, 2019“퇴적된 영혼”은 퇴적되는 암석층이란 관념, 그리고 그 축적이 어떻게 시간의 기록과 관련되는지에 대한 작업이다. 여기서 나는 그 과정을 가장 기초적인 머리를 쌓아나가는 것과 동일시했다.
Sedimentary Spirit - in this work I was working with the notion of layering in sedimentary rock and how that accumulation is about a record of time. In this work I equate that process with the construction of a rudimentary head.
