Acrylic on canvas 18” x 18”, 2018“죽은 머리”는 잘린 머리라는 집중된 형상을 묘사하는 연작의 첫 번째 작품이다. 데스 마스크 전통과는 모종의 관계가 있을지도 모르고, 우리가 어떻게 정신 속에서 우리가 누군지를 찾아내는 것과도 연관이 있다.
Dead Head is the first in a series of works where I am depicting basic centralized forms as disembodied heads. It is in some tangential manner about the tradition of death masks, but also about how we locate who we are in our thinking mind..
