    Acrylic, canvas, marbling oil, paper, watercolor

    I work with watercolors, often combined with marbling techniques, to explore resist processes on paper and canvas. I create details with masking fluid and paint layers of watercolor before removing the mask. I find inspiration researching symbols and patterns in antique textiles and folk art. My work explores symmetry and attempts to highlight commonalities in craft traditions from different cultures.
